Our Bollywood Piano Series is an online course designed to teach you how to play classic Bollywood songs on the piano, utilizing both hands.

Syllabus

Each course within this series will focus on a selection of old Bollywood songs, providing a detailed study of:

• Right Hand Techniques: You’ll learn the precise notes and the unique ornamentation characteristic of Bollywood music.
• Chords and Left Hand Patterns: The curriculum covers essential chords and introduces effective left-hand accompaniment patterns.
• Song Structure: Each song’s introduction and at least one primary music part will be taught in depth.
• Music Theory: We will delve into the theory behind the melodies, harmonies, and chord progressions used by renowned Bollywood composers, offering insights into their musical construction.
• Playing Techniques: Strategies for approaching and simplifying challenging musical passages will also be covered.

Each song will be explored slowly and meticulously, emphasizing the intricacies of the melody, musical sections, and appropriate left-hand accompaniment.
